An economic interest is not a seat

Meaning
Operational state characterized by the absence of defined limits on the responsibility, authority or load a person carries. An unbounded role has no borders, which means the person in the seat is expected to do whatever is necessary to keep the arrangement running. This state is common in the years immediately following the founding of a new project.
Limitless Scope
Condition where the work expands to fill all the available energy and hours of the individual. In an unbounded arrangement, there is no page that says “this is not your job,” so every problem in the room becomes the person’s responsibility. This lack of definition makes it impossible to calculate the true cost of the seat.
Capacity Exhaustion
Result of carrying a load that has no maximum weight or duration. Because the work is unbounded, the person holding the seat will eventually run out of the attention and energy needed to maintain their own regulation. This leads to a failure of the person and a subsequent breakdown of the engine they were trying to protect.
Structural Risk
Danger to the arrangement that arises when the entire process depends on the limitless contribution of a single person. If that person exits the seat or becomes unable to work, there is no bounded role for someone else to step into. An unbounded system is inherently fragile because it cannot be moved or handed over to another operator without significant loss of value.
